As its user base expanded, the company faced growing challenges with its fragmented and inconsistent learning ecosystem. The business needed a strategy to streamline educational resources, improve user onboarding and retention, and scale training efficiently across diverse user segments. At the same time, it sought to position itself not just as a software provider, but as a leader in user education and creative skill development.

This included a deep dive into user expectations around learning formats, accessibility, and community engagement, as well as a competitive analysis of leading animation and design software education models. I evaluated Toon Boom’s existing learning ecosystem, identifying gaps in user experience, content structure, and support pathways.
