For Mycelium Intelligence, my research process began with an in-depth study of mycelial networks as natural systems of communication and resilience, examining scientific literature on fungal biology and network dynamics. I paired this with exploration into generative AI technologies, investigating how machine learning models emulate pattern recognition and adaptive behaviors found in nature. I also delved into theories of speculative design to frame how these insights could provoke new ways of thinking about intelligence and interconnectedness.
